Asclepion Dermablate is the latest version in the erbium laser family by Asclepion Laser Technologies (Germany).
The device is intended for laser rejuvenation of the face, neck, and décolleté using fractional ablative photothermolysis - reducing skin porosity, improving tone, minimizing wrinkles, and correcting hypertrophic and atrophic acne scars and stretch marks.
The laser removes pigmentation spots and benign skin lesions such as nevi, warts, papillomas, and more.
Before the procedure, the skin is disinfected and an anesthetic cream is applied for 30–40 minutes under occlusion, or local anesthesia with 2% lidocaine is administered by injection, making the procedure painless.
After the procedure, redness and mild swelling appear in the treated area. By the next day, redness and swelling decrease, and a fine mesh-like crust forms (the openings created by the fractional handpiece are so small that the skin may simply appear brown).
The crusts resolve within 3–7 days, depending on treatment intensity.
Procedures for skin rejuvenation, reducing skin porosity, and improving acne scars are performed once a month, with a course of 3–5 procedures.
Stretch mark correction is performed once every 10–14 days, with a total course of 7 procedures.
