Spider Vein Removal: A Procedure Performed Using a Laser.
Laser vessel removal on the face and body is performed using the QuadroStar-PRO Yellow laser and the Medio Star Next diode laser. The technology by the German company Asclepion Laser Technologie works through direct targeting of oxyhemoglobin in the blood with a focused light beam. Only the vascular formations are treated, while the skin remains unharmed. The device can remove red and blue spider veins, lighten them, reduce their extent, or eliminate them completely.
The procedure is performed using gel, a scanner with a built-in cooling system that instantly cools the skin and eliminates discomfort, as well as a manual handpiece that allows highly precise vessel treatment. After laser couperose removal, redness, swelling, and pinpoint crusting may occur, but they resolve fairly quickly (within 3–5 days).
