This is a contouring procedure that improves a descending facial contour, transforming a downward-based triangle into an upward-based triangle.
The procedure is minimally traumatic because it is performed with cannulas.

In this procedure, hyaluronic acid-based gel is injected using the MD Code technique into the lateral facial areas: the posterior cheekbone area, submalar space, jaw angle, as well as the chin, chin crease, and corners of the mouth. As a result, excess skin volume in the jowl area is reduced. The cheeks and facial contour are lifted.
With age, the volume of the facial bones decreases: the cheekbones and upper and lower jaw bones. As a result, excess skin and subcutaneous fat descend into the jowl, chin, and anterior neck areas.
By creating structural support for soft tissues in areas of lost volume, we essentially place the face back where it belongs, like putting a painting back into its frame, thereby slowing the descent of the facial contour.
